Discover Your Family History

We are excited to announce a program available at our new Beardsley Discovery Center - the Family Tree Explorer Program! 

Ruthmere's new Family Tree Explorer (FTE) program is a FREE offering for anyone interested in learning more about their family history and genealogy. Our FTE stations provide access to both Ancestry.com and MyHeritage.com with available guidance from our trained museum staff or volunteers.

As of right now, we are accepting both walk-ins and appointments for use of this new program. The Beardsley Discovery Center is open from 9:30 am-4:30 pm Tuesday-Saturday and 12:30 pm -4:30 pm on Sundays. We are closed Mondays. Call (574) 264-0330 or email jjohns@ruthmere.org with any questions.

The Beardsley Discovery Center is located at 819 N. Main St., Elkhart, IN 46514, directly north of the Havilah Beardsley House.
