Ruthmere's annual Ice Cream Social is a great way to beat the heat in the summer months with the whole family. 

Ruthmere's popular Ice Cream social event is back for 2023! This year's event will take place on Sunday, August 6th. Enjoy free tours of the house, the musical stylings of the New Image Barbershop Quartet, and, of course, delicious ice cream. Start with your tour through our historic property, built in 1910 for Albert and Elizabeth Beardsley. Then, hang out on Ruthmere's porch or on our grounds and enjoy music and a cooling treat.

Ice cream with a variety of toppings will be offered with a suggested donation of $1 per scoop. Reservations and registration not required. Tours begin at 1 pm and will be taken through the house every few minutes - we recommend waiting no later than 3:40 pm to arrive for a tour.
